Guano Boys

I have enjoyed many a night watching Shallel wail away on the keys and I love the enthusiasm and freedom he emits in his on stage vibe. Guano Boys are the epitome of fusion, pulling off reggae grass seamlessly. Come open-minded and you will walk away a fan. Rasclot-Grenada.
"With their heads in the Caribbean Islands and their feet firmly rooted in the Appalachian Mountains, Guano Boys offer a distinct brand of island music styles. Original sounds in the style of reggae, soca, ska, and calypso with an occasional roots cover create an enticing musical recipe. The diverse instrumentation, ranging from clawhammer banjo, accordion and steel guitar, to trombone, baritone sax and electric guitar with acoustic bass, and organ, gives the band many options in delivering their music while exploring the music’s potential.
Despite the diversity in approach and instrumentation, the resulting chemistry is a sound that is instantly identifiable yet always interesting and unpredictable. The initial Guano Boys recording has been enthusiastically received by Fans and DJs across the United States."
